Utilizing Software to Improve Project Effectiveness

These programs are designed for prospective users or individuals who want to understand how computers should be used in conjunction with Project Success MethodSM processes. Participants gain an understanding for the scope and potential applications of software in the management of projects. Complimentary software utilities are provided which enhance the functionality of the base software packages. The Project Success Method course is a prerequisite to each of these courses.

Microsoft Project View Course Outline View Open Classes This program is designed for prospective users of Microsoft Project 2000, 2002 and Project 2003 project management software. Completion of YCA’s The Project Success Method training program and proficiency in Microsoft Windows are prerequisites for this training. The audience will be limited to a minimum of eight and no more than fifteen participants per session.

Advanced Project Success Techniques (APST)
Practical Solutions for Complex Project Environments

This series of courses provides advanced knowledge and techniques to professionals involved with complex project situations. APST courses are modular one-day classes that can be combined to create multi-day training sessions customized to an organization's needs. Several of these courses incorporate the use of computer tools, including the new features available in our Advanced YCA Utilities for Microsoft Project. The Project Success MethodSM course and the Project Success Toolkit Training course are prerequisites to each of these courses.

APST: Control Methods & Practices View Course Outline View Open Classes Designed for professionals desiring to increase their ability to lead and participate in the execution of complex, cross-functional projects. Participants will study control process and learn advanced analysis, measurement, communication, problem-solving, and behavioral techniques, which increase the likelihood of success on critical projects and programs.
