offers a broad range of training programs, from basic and advanced courses
on the concepts, principles and techniques of project management to custom
seminars tailored to specific client needs.
YCA also offers training on effective project leadership/teamwork as well
as project management software user training. On-site training for groups
can be conducted at the client's location, or individual attendance
can be arranged for public offerings held in major cities.
We always begin our relationship with clients by conducting Project Success
MethodSM (PSMSM) training. This two-day program presents the key concepts,
principles and techniques of project management. In order to create the
knowledge base and commitment to the formal project management process,
the client, sponsors and other individuals who are key members of project
teams must attend the program. This base course provides common terminology
and methodology that enables individuals from various functions to plan
and manage projects collaboratively.
In a large organization, this training will be conducted over a period
of months, possibly at several sites. A core group of key individuals would
be trained first, with other participants attending programs scheduled
later in the training cycle. The cost of training is based on the number
of participants per session, with discounts depending on the total volume,
frequency of sessions, and location of training.
